    Delicious mid-ride snack.

Back up the energy-supplementing deliciousness of the Skratch Labs Cookie Mix before your next ride. This 13.9-ounce mix is good for approximately 18 cookie bars that are moist and solid enough to transport in your cycling jersey's pocket without 'em turning into a crumbly mess.

To bake these deliciously moist and delectable cookie bars, simply add a stick of butter and egg, as well as chocolate chips, nuts, and fruit extras for extra decadence. And because this simple mixture only consists of wheat flour, cane sugar, brown cane sugar, oats, leavening, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, you'll find they're incredibly easy to digest when you're riding long distances and recovering from strenuous exercise.

    Cookie monster

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These have turned into a snack around the house, I bake them for rides too, but I usually end up eating them up before hand. I like mixing in nuts, craisins, coconut....lets just say they are very customizable to suit your taste!

Make it how you want it

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Skratch labs may make the best cookie mix out there. Real food for real people. Nothing you don't need and the opportunity to mix in the flavors you love. I don't love raisins or other fruit in my cookies, so they don't make the mix. I do love chocolate and peanut butter, so those get mixed in every time.

    Bars be-gone

This cookie mix is da bombbbb dot com. Perfectly chewy, substantial, and delectable. I have a hard time making myself eat cardboard-esque energy bars (*coughimlookingatyouclifbar*) when I'm on long rides or mashing out miles and vert in the mountains, so I get into the bad habit of not eating as much as I need to... aka, the dreaded "bonk." Having these portable little nuggets of deliciousness makes it way easier for me to get the calories, sugars, and salts I need while out and about, and they're muuuuch easier on the tummy.

These cookies are delish!! I don't do eggs or dairy, so I make vegan (or dairy/egg allergy) friendly swap outs.

        Instead of egg:
1 Flax Egg (in a teeny bowl, mix 1 tbsp ground flax seed + 3 tbsp HOT water and let sit for 5 min before adding)
1 medium mashed ripe banana (slight banana-y taste)
        1/4 cup applesauce

        Instead of butter:
        1/2 cup coconut oil
        1/2 cup Earth Balance

My personal faves right now are chocolate chip walnut cookie bars using coconut oil and a flax egg, or cinnamon + cardamom walnut bars using mashed banana and Earth Balance with chopped dried figs.

        soooo good!!!

I am finding myself reordering this stuff because it is so easy to make and so so good. I made mine like they suggested and put a bunch of frozen berries with them and I couldn't stop eating them. I would suggest to really drain them, or use fresh berries. I think the extra moisture of the frozen ones left them a little more soft than I wanted, but they still were so good. I love the clean and simple ingredients and is a good, yummy filler when you are on the trail or riding your bike.

          So Damn Good

This cookie mix is obviously a bit more pricey than what you'd find at the grocery store, but it is way good and I guess I'd like to think a bit healthier since it's Skratch. Probably not really the case though. If you're a Skratch fan you gotta try it. Bonus points if you add in a mix in like nutella with it to make it more 'healthy'.

Easiest Cookie I have ever made

            • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Simply take the mix out, butter and egg. Mix it and form the cookies to place in the oven. On top of all that...these are really good! Finished them up in less than an hour after making them.

an excuse to eat a cookie

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Yes I eat these while riding and it feels like I'm eating a cookie that I shouldn't. Very satisfying, easy to make. I would recommend it to about anyone.

            Oh My!

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This mix is amazing, and most importantly, helps you SIMPLY make an great tasting cookie that can be taken during and after your workouts. During a 4-6 hour training ride, you need fuel but if you bring along some of the mass-market "energy bars", they taste like crap and you soon start to avoid eating which is dangerous.
Buy this mix, add in your favorites (chips, walnuts, cherries, etc.) and you will make great tasting cookies that you will devour and want more!

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've purchased several boxes of these over the months. I've made these treats for friends and my backpacking buddies. Everyone loves them, for any occasion. I love the simplicity and how it is easy to customize the flavor of the "cookie" you decide to make. Also, good source of energy when backpacking or climbing walls. Strongly recommend!

Used for a 12 Hour overnight MTB race

            • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have had this mix for 3 weeks and was waiting to concoct the best add-ins to the mix. I ended up doing Banana, Walnut and Cinnamon chip. They were amazing. My team loved them and it gave them the energy to keep going for the long haul. GREAT product...

            Yummy Yummy in my Tummy!

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are a perfect snack for pretty much any activity. My favorite thing about them is that you can put your own ingredients in to cater your workout or post workout snack to your liking. I personally put about a half cup of chopped Reese's and a cup of chopped peanuts in mine. It makes for the perfect blend of salty and sweet.

            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Granted I haven't met many cookies I haven't enjoyed, this cookie mix from Skratch is sooo good. I'd like to think that since it says Skratch on it that they are healthy, negative-calories...probably not the case, but still a great reason to pig out. Word to the wise, don't share with friends.

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

a little pricey, but delicious! It's surprisingly easy, and I truthfully didn't buy them for any nutritional value.... mainly because they looked good and I was hungry. I took them home, made them and was happy. simple.

            Tasty and easy to make

            • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My LBS gave me a free box and asked that I bake them up and give them my thoughts. Easy to make. the dough is a bit crumbly unlike normal cookie dough. I chilled the dough before I baked them. They bake up nice and chewy and didn't spread. They taste fantastic but a bit salty. Using unsalted butter would help. In the end I am a fairly avid baker and I have most of these ingredients at home so I probably wouldn't buy this mix at $8.50 considering you have to add butter, egg and chips.

I don't understand what the difference between this and homemade cookies w/some oats is? The ingredients are all normal cookie ingredients... that don't cost $8.50? Is not like its almond flour or something? Trying to understand what the added value is here...

Skratch designed this cookie to operate as both a long and short-term fueling item by combining sugar, oats and salt, but yes... It's basically a cookie. However, the mix is more delicious than any cookie I've ever created and it's REALLY, REALLY easy to use, which is another reason for buying it -- dump it into a bowl, add an egg, bacon fat or butter and BOOM. You're good to go! The added value for a lot of people is the convenience, great taste, recipes on the box and quality guarantee.

This mix also makes up to 21 small bars, which, when compared to goos and gels, is actually a pretty sweet bargain. You can freeze the baked bars or cookies, or freeze the dough, and just thaw them when you're ready to bake or ride.
