Description

Light enough to get you up, and wide enough to float back to the trailhead.

While you sleep, the new snow waits. You dream of the Ski Trab Tour Rando XL Ski floating over powdery rollers and cruising back up for more. Then you open your eyes, and get dressed way before dawn. Although blessed with lightweight rando racing abilities, this touring ski was made to lap up the sweet, soft reward. After the big storms it'll stay on top, but since its wood core is reinforced, it dishes out solid, predictable turns when you drop from another icy summit.
  • Durable, lightweight Power Cap construction achieves greater edge power and stability for any terrain and snow conditions you find
  • The wood core features air channels to provide ultralight performance and a familiar flex and strength mixture
  • Mid-fat dimensions with traditional camber turns on anything you find out there, but prefers fresh snow just like you
  • Carbon, fiberglass, and hybrid reinforcements provide stability without weighing you down on the skin track
  • Micro-finished steel edges grip icy couloirs and exposed snowfields so you can get through the crux without incident
  • Polyamide protection film prevents scuffs and scratches that can break down the ski's structure over time

Would this ski make a decent recreational rando race ski? Seems like its light enough but the mid-fat dimensions are quite a bit wider that the more traditional race skis>
