Great helmet and value but they need to either offer this in a XXL or make their sizes larger. An XL in other brands fit my huge melon but their XL is too tight. I'm sure that their version of a XXL would fit but they do not offer it which is a bummer for me and other people with oversized grapes.

So i am seriously considering buying this helmet but i have heard a lot of people say that the visor is super brittle and breaks easily. Another thing that I have heard is that it is hard to get replacement visors. I would prefer not to have a helmet that doesn't have a visor if it breaks. Does anyone know anything about that or have any experience with it?
I would like to get a large comp shifter...

I've had this brain bucket for a few weeks now and have been using it for skiing in the resort. Very comfortable and quality helmet, especially for the price. Four stars because I haven't used it enough to give it five.
A dandy helmet

This is a pretty BAMF helmet, I really, really like it. It's well vented, lightweight, provides great peripherals, and is comfortable. And hey, it's cheaper than dental insurance, right?

This is a nice reasonably priced helmet for someone who does the occasional resort riding or downhill shuttle. Obviously it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a more expensive helmet but it gets the job done. It's lightweight plus it vents well. This is a great helmet for the price.
Great price, great helmet

The 661 Comp Shifted Helmet is a nice lightweight helmet. I only find myself needing a full face helmet for Mountain Biking a few times a seasons. This fits the bill and the price is excellent. The chin strap is a little cumbersome with gloves on but really that's the only complaint I can come up with. The sizing measurements were spot on.
good helmet

This is the best purchase I have ever made with mountain biking!
I took a crash a couple weeks ago and it didn't turn out good.
The morning started out great. A lot of climbing and few stops. But the lake was worth the ride up!! It was beautiful and not all that cold, so I went for a dip and started down.
We started on the ride down. Extremely technical!!! There were lots of 3-4 ft rock drops and big, big rock gardens! Everything was going great. Lots of air, speed, and tons of thinking!!!
But then all hell broke loose. I took a drop and over shot it without correct balance. When I landed I went over the handlebars and ate dirt. After hitting the ground, I started to tumbling down the trail towards a boulder. Without loosing any speed, I slammed my pelvic into the boulder around 20 mph. With the impact being at the bottom half of my body, I flipped headfirst over the boulder and down a 15 ft cliff. I hit the ground hard.
After waiting for 3 hours for the helicopter and rescue crew, they hauled me down 3 miles of rocky terrain in a cart without shocks. It hurt like hell! After reaching the helicopter, the flew me to the Bozeman, MT Hospital. I was released 9 hours later and went home on crutches and heavy pain pills!
Over all my gear, the visor was the only thing to break on the helmet!
Great Buy!

I don't do a lot of strictly park riding but when I do I wanted a full face so I purchased this for the price. Can't go wrong as the price as awesome and quality is pretty good as well. I ordered a large and fit like every other helmet I have had in large. Actually pretty light as that was my issue with big helmets.

First full face I've bought. Very stoked on the fit and feel. It's light. Easy to ride with and doesn't weigh my head down.

I just got this two days ago and got to put it to use today. This helmet is great. It's super comfortable, breathable and lightweight. I got compliments on the styling, too (I got the white one). The sizing is pretty spot on - I got a medium and I wear a medium for my BMX helmet and snowboard helmet. The d ring is slightly annoying, but I'm able to loosen it without completely undoing it to get the lid off and on. I definitely recommend this helmet.
Verrryyyyy nice!

I have a tiny, tiny head, and I was stoked because I thought I had found a winner with this helmet in the XS size. I have about a 21 inch head, and was swimming in the XS, so had to send her back. The helmet itself was very comfortable, and style points too! But if you have a crazy small head like me, it won't be a winner. Guess I'm off to the kids dept...
Killer helmet for the price, runs small

I love this helmet and it is the right choice given my level of use (I ride lifts with a trail bike about 5 times per year). If I was more involved with the gravity side of riding I'd go for something I bit nicer, but $80 for this lightweight and really good looking helmet fits my needs perfectly at a good price. On sizing, I'm usually a medium (giro) or M/L (poc). The medium was way too small for me and the large fit just right, so if you're on the border size up (I ordered both and returned one).
The white is probably the sexiest thing ever, FWIW.

IF this helmet is the same as last year's Comp II (it seems like it simply has different graphics), then the weight is 1,000 grams (2.2 lbs.) for a medium (I've verified this weight with my own medium and a digital scale).
Great Fit

661 helmets fit great, are well ventilated, light-weight. They also have a great look and design. For the price, you just can't beat 661 helmets.
