Slip off your Simple Women's Retire Shoes and kick back in your hammock. As you lie back in shaded comfort, you can think about how great it is that your shoes are doing their part to save the planet. Simple made the Retire Shoes' soles from recycled car tires. The linings feature organic cotton and the footbeds are recycled plastic bottles. Simple used water-based cements to put your comfy sneakers together. After your rest, slide your feet back into your shoes and head to work or class—the Retire Shoes feature old-school skater style that goes anywhere.

The only disappointment was that they were not a true size. They fit narrow and were a bit shorter than other shoes I have in the same size. After ordering the second pair in a half size bigger I was very pleased.

i've come to expect more from the folks at Simple. I like them... but they're not my fave's
