This vest has never let me down. Durable, lightweight and practical. I have used it for over 10 years and I am still finding new pockets and ways to use it. Looks good too :) Highly recommend.

Why stop making such a great product Simms?

Great vest. High quality. Very cool during hot weather. I know that Simms has discontinued this model. I hope it's replacement is just as good or better. We will see

Great Simms “Old School” fly fishing vest

Great vest, especially nice for summer fly fishing. Is light, has plenty of pockets for all your flies, tools and accessories, and it has the classic old school look, which I personally love. The mesh configuration is much appreciated when the weather gets warm. Highest praise and recommendation. One wish - make it in Bozeman!

Too good to improve

I’ve been wearing Simms vests for 30+ years, so I thought I needed a change. I gave my old vest to my son. I thought I wanted a chest pack, and then a waist pack. Turns out I wanted the vest back after all. In 30 years the quality of Simms products has only gotten better. Since the new model has the same layout as the old, I can find anything I want even in the dark. I thought I could do better than a Simms vest, but I was wrong-
