Hardbites work great.

I've been using Hardbites for years and I've never lost even one. I've read reviews and noticed some folks that have lost them, and I think I know why. You're over tightening them and stripping the threads you cut in the rubber. Just tighten them until the screw head just touches the countersink. Then just snug them up. The rubber acts like the spring on a needle valve and holds the screw. I just check mine occasionally.

Not a secure fit

These cleats are garbage! I put 10 in each of my Freestone boots last week and I lost 5 of them after only TWO days of wade fishing. I know a lot of folks use glue to strengthen the bond but you really shouldn't have to! These should stay secure in the sole of the boot no matter what. Especially for how much they cost!

They’re great. Pricey but worth it.

These cleats in combination with my felt bottoms really grip the river bottom.

These work much better than the aluminum cleats.

Worth every penny!

The best option for compatible wading boots. Will not be on the water without these.
