Description

Down that maintains its loft and warmth even in humid, dewy, or ice-melt conditions.

The Sierra Designs Zissou 12 700-Fill DriDown 12 Degree Down Sleeping Bag keeps you warm whether you're winter camping in the Pacific Northwest, in Colorado, or in Alaska. The hydrophobic down maintains its warmth and loft when wet storms roll through and when condensation builds up in your tent throughout the night.

  • With an EN comfort rating of 12°F (an average man's comfort level), this bag is ideal for cold winter nights in below freezing temperatures
  • EN ratings are developed from procedures and testing conducted by independent organizations in the US and Europe
  • 700 fill-power goose DriDown insulation features a hydrophobic finish that enables the treated down to stay drier, loft better, and dry faster (compared to untreated down) so you're able to stay warm no matter what the weather is doing
  • Mummy-shaped bag decreases weight, cold spots, and packed size
  • A 30D ripstop nylon shell offers lightweight performance while a DWR coating supplies protection against early-morning frost
  • Ergonomic hood and footbox, zipper draft tube, and draft collar insulate your body and prevent the cold from seeping in
  • Easy-access 60-inch snag-free zipper ensures easy in-and-out
  • Collar drawcord with captured cordlock lets you cinch the collar down around your face for a snug fit
  • Includes storage and stuff sack

I got this bag after purchasing a different Sierra Designs bag. Don't remember which one it was but it had a significantly higher fill count but this one is SO much more comfortable. I used it while camping on the beach in 50 degree weather and it was great to unzip and use as a blanket. The only problem was that it didn't unzip all the way so I couldn't completely open it up for the two of us, but I did know that would be the case beforehand. It's a great bag and I am excited to use it for backpacking this summer!

Snagged this Sierra Designs Zissou 12 700 Fill DriDown bag and love it. I am about 5'10'', went with the long, and am super stoked on how its fits. Real stoked on the dri down and some of the other sports where Sierra Designs pays close attention to detail. Packs down small and is pretty dang light too. Bottomline: get one
