Grab your Sierra Designs Veranda 4 Tent and the whole family and hit up the local campground. Plenty of interior space and a cleverly-designed construction lets you get set up quick, and sleep soundly no matter what the weather. Toss all your gear in the smaller rear vestibule and then use the massive front vestibule to lounge outside when the weather is foul. You won't see too many family tents with a front porch, but Sierra Designs made it happen.

  • Jakes Foot pole end attachments eliminate the struggle of plugging in the poles at the ground and simply allow you to snap the ball end into a plastic receiver
  • Ball Cap Connector allows you to connect the ridge poles easily and allows these poles to pivot and rotate without release during storms or heavy winds
  • M Hub pole connectors create a strong, lightweight connection between poles at the tent corners and allows for a unique configuration that creates more headroom inside
  • Superseal floor combines the benefits of a high-sided bathtub floor and the tight-pitching catenary style floor so you get secure setup and maintain plenty of weather protection
  • Reflective door trim and guy outs keep all the important parts of your tent highly-visible in the light of a headlamp at night
  • Hanging pockets and a stash spot in the door help you keep track of small valuables and necessities

Bottom Line: A basecamp-style tent that gives you plenty of room to spread out.

With a seemingly complex pole structure, how long does this take

With a seemingly complex pole structure, how long does this take to set up, and can one person do it?

it's actually pretty easy with color coded poles and the way some of them are pre connected.
if you practice with it at home, you should be able to put it up in couple of minutes..
here are more details on how to set it up and more pics

the first time I set this up it took me about 10 minutes, after that in about half that time.

The poles are color coded to match the clips, the trickiest part is the eye-pole for the vestibule, each hub has half of the eye.
