Description

We're convinced, it's from the future.

To put it bluntly the Sierra Designs Sorcery 55 Backpack is a designer's adolescent fantasy. Every bell and whistle is included, this pack is light and it has a harness system so comfortable you'll consider trading an appendage to have it on every pack you own. Furthermore, gear-specific attachment points allow you to carry skis, crampons, ice axes, your gps and more. The gearheads at Sierra Designs even built-in an emergency bivy pad. Who does that?!
  • Thermo-molded shoulder straps and waistbelt customize the fit so you can carry heavy loads farther and easier
  • Snow-shedding backpanel, ski carry points, a crampon pocket, and storm collar all make this pack four-season friendly
  • Load-lifter and stabilizer straps work together with hip belt stabilizers to evenly distribute the weight of your gear
  • A removable framesheet and single DAC aluminum stay add to the overall rigidity and strength of this bag without adding unnecessary weight
  • Hydration-compatible inner sleeve, water bottle pockets, and an integrated bottle opener allow for multiple hydration options
  • Glove-friendly buckles polish off this one-of-a-kind beauty

Bought the Sorcery 55 and love the pack. I use mine for motorcycle camping and it is working out perfect. The Sorcery has just enough space for my bag, pad, clothing and other camping gear. I am 185, and about 5'10'', and the size large fits great. I am also planning on using it for overnight alpine camping. Bottomline: Great multi-use backpack.

My friend took the Sierra Designs Sorcery 55 Backpack online(www.backcountry.com) and brought it to me in Nov.I went to Mt.JiuHua in China with the pack loaded about 22 lb for its first time.Unfortunately, its right strap broke with a snap halfway up the mountain and it fucked up my trekking and climbing.I must catch the broken strap with one hand only the other grasping a single trekking pole.I am nearly killed as a result.I do put it through the wringer...
