Tipping the scale at less than five pounds, the Sierra Designs Sirius 3 Tent is ideal for adventurers who don’t want to weigh themselves down when they head into the backcountry. Large, black mesh panels offer plenty of ventilation and a view for stargazing, and the tent’s double doors and vestibules provide easy entry and gear storage. If the weather goes south on your trip, you’ll stay dry thanks to the rain fly and the Super Seal floor that wraps up the sides. Sierra Designs has built in enough space under the fly to keep the tent from turning into a sweat lodge on a warm, wet night. Setting up the Sirius 3 takes no time at all; the swivel hub snaps quickly into place, Quik Clips make for easy body-to-pole attachment, and a color-coded shows what goes where.
