Description

A life-changer for fast-packers.

Sierra Designs shaved the weight of the Mojo 2 Ultralight Tent down to under three pounds without sacrificing weatherproofing or space inside. Sleep two comfortably, and never break your back with a heavy tent again. Early spring through late fall, this single-wall hybrid tent fends off the elements and sets up in a flash.
  • Single-wall hybrid construction reduces weight by merging the canopy and fly into one piece and repositioning the poles to the outside
  • Optic white canopy is easier on the eyes in the morning and diffuses a soothing, white light inside throughout the day
  • Sunflower hubs bring all the sections of the pole together at the front crest, simplifying the pole structure, and less poles mean less weight
  • Ultralight clips lock the poles together at intersections and allow for a fast setup
  • Locking pole tips keep the poles securely in place and improve structural reliability
  • Reflective door trim and guy outs keep important parts of the tent visible in your headlamp beam at night
  • PVC-free seam taping and a Superseal floor protect against leakage when harsh weather strikes
  • Superseal floor allows for a tighter pitch and therefore more protected floorspace

Pegs...

  • Gender: Male

You need 6 pegs to make the tent up. (2 for the vestibule, 2 for the tail and 2 for the wings) if you on hard ground it is a lot of work to go to sleep!
It is too narrow for 2P. but it have a LOW weight and looking cool (:

Nice - very nice

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Purchased this tent about 2 months ago, and have already put it through the test of West Virginia?s weather. Overall, there a whole lot more pros than cons. In fact, it?s a very good tent.

PROS:
This 2-person tent is SUPER easy to setup.
There?s no way to mess up pitching it in the dark.
It?s very light, yet doesn?t feel like a think piece of paper like many other ultra lights.
The color is unique; think opaque to the n degree ? it?s pleasant.
Footprint is rather small, and can meet the needs of tighter areas.
There are 2 guy lines (they come with it, and I recommend putting them).
Waterproofness is second to none.
Windproof: really surprised me with only two guy lines!
Excellent quality that you?d expect from Sierra Designs? no skimming.

CONS:
This is a smaller 2-person tent. You?ll be fine with two adults, but don?t expect much more room past that.
The door (the only door) isn?t designed properly enough to prevent water from coming in while opening / closing the tent during heavy rain storms.
Small interior (minimalist on the Mojo 2).
No gear loft (that would have been nice, and still very light).
Vestibule could have been a little bit bigger.

CONCLUSION:
For a one person, this is an ideal light (very light) tent that is very sturdy, yet still provides a really nice amount of room. For two people, I have done the unthinkable & purchased the 3-person version. It?s day & night: the door problem has been fixed with the larger size, the interior feels like it?s 2 feet taller (even though it?s just inches higher), 3 pockets (doesn?t tell you, but it is), and finally, don?t ask me how, but the interior is also longer. Pounds have now been added with the Mojo 3, especially when you include the foot print, but it?s now so much more comfortable for 2 people.

For ref.: I am kinda short (5?6) and kinda small built (130lbs).
