충분히 가볍고, 설치 및 철수가 간편합니다.
한국에서는 생소한 텐트라서 약간 유니크한면이 있습니다.
추억을 만들기에 적절한 텐트.. 다음 백패킹이 기다려지네요 :)
I'm impressed!

- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Took a gamble and bought this tent based on reviews below (it's a bit hard to return stuff when you live down in New Zealand), and I'm not disappointed. Light weight enough to use for solo trips, but roomy enough (just) for two - as stated previously the vestibules are not large, but they'll take a pack either side. Headroom is excellent and stops you feeling too cramped. Very easy to set up, although supplied instructions are for the LT3 and require a bit of head scratching to adapt for the LT2 - I'd suggest a couple of test runs in the backyard first.
All in all a great tent for the money - recommended.
Update : I managed to accommodate two 6 foot tall men, two packs, 1 rifle and 1 dog during a recent trip-gone-slightly-wrong. Not bad for a lightweight!

Hi Ruth - didn't get the footprint but as the floor is quite thin I'll probably take a tarpaulin along if I know I'll be camping on rough ground. Stands up really well in the wind (and you have the ability to guy it out for extra stability if you like). Not rain tested yet, we're in the middle of a drought where I live so haven't had a chance.
Solid, Lightweight, Easy to set up every night.

I traded in a MEC Wanderer 2, for this tent, 2 weeks into a cycling trip across Canada. I love so many things about this tent. It's incredibly light, weighing in the 3-4lb category. It was very easy to pack up and set up every single night and morning. I like the single pole set up better, for setting the tent up without help. I was a little weary about the canopy being completely mesh and it still being able to perform as a 3 season tent, but those worries were soon squashed. We even downgraded to zero degree sleeping bags and were cozy when the temperature dropped as low as -7 in Kenora, Ontario. The tent is a little smaller then the Wanderer, but still plenty roomy (the Wanderer was actually unusually large for a 2 person tent). The fly is a very unique design which performed well under extreme winds (50-60km/hr) and over 16 hours of continuous rain. I also really like the colour of the tent. When you have to stealth camp, and you don't want your tent to be seen, it can be hard with some of the tents out there. This one is not overdone with reflective ribbing to look like a spaceship whenever light hits it in the dark. It also helps that the fly is a subtle dark green. Overall, I am extremely happy with this tent. It performs very well in the elements at a competitive weight.

Hi Thomas
I read some comments about the above tent from others on how they have great problems with the fly touching the screenand thus causing leakage. We are planning to bike for 3 weeks in Europe this summer where the weather is not always good. Would you advise me to purchase this tent? Thanks

poor pole design

In my opinion, they had to sacrifice too much to make this tent as light as it is. The pole design is flimsy. I'm not sure why the poles make an H rather than crossing from one corner to the other. I am 6 feet tall and my head and feet touched the ends of the tent. The vestibules are very tiny and just about useless. Note that the footprint does NOT allow you to set up the fly without the body even though the description says it does. I returned this tent in exchange for an MSR Hubba Hubba, which is a very similar type tent but with a much better design, and I was much much happier.

What are the floor dimensions of the SD Lightning HT 2 person tent?
Does it narrow at one end like the SD Vapor Light 2 XL?

The floor dimensions are 52 inches x 83 inches. The floor is rectangular, through the fly is irregularly shaped to help dispel wind and rain.
