Try using the chat now feature in the upper right hand corner to ask the gear expert to have someone in the warehouse measure it for you.

These stakes are not bad. They're light, reasonably strong, and do the job. In stating that, I have bent the head on a few of these in the field. For my money, I go with MSR Groundhog stakes for bombproof peace of mind.

I typically replace my tent stakes with MSR Groundhogs straight away. I find those are the toughest choices available for the rocky/hard Colorado soil I camp on.

I received a set of these with a recent tent, though, and as they looked better than the average stock stakes, I decided to keep them. I'm glad I did - they're just a bit smaller (just 2 ridges instead of the 3 on the Groundhogs) and lighter than the Groundhogs, but they're nearly as strong.

If you need the best of the best, go with the Groundhogs. Otherwise, these are a very solid choice.

These are fantastic stakes for most purposes (see my review on the North Face version). Again, these are actually DAC stakes so decide how many you need, what color, and if you want cord attached to decide what is the best deal.

Thanks Angus! Are these the same stakes that Big Agnes ships with their tents? DAC?
