It’s pouring rain, and as we all know, it can also get stuffy, hot, and sweaty inside your rain jacket as you hike and exert energy. That’s why Sierra Designs made the Women’s Hurricane HP Jacket with a DWR coating and super-breathable nylon ripstop fabric. The fully taped PVC-free seams and solvent-free laminate block moisture so the Hurricane withstands downpours. Engage the fast-pack hood to keep water off your noggin, and use the Underarm zips to dump excess heat on steep climbs.

Bottom Line: Dry in the Hurricane.

Leaks too much

I live on the Washington coast and we get tons of rain. I purchased this jacket for my running. Unfortunately, it leaks. I wouldn't recommend this jacket if you live someplace where there's lots of rain.
