The Sierra Designs Men's Hurricane Full Zip Rain Pant features a lightweight, waterproof/breathable design, which provides comfortable shelter from rainiest and nastiest conditions. Two-layers of waterproof/breathable coating on a nylon fabric and fully taped seams stop moisture in its tracks. Sweaty moisture vapors escape through Sierra Designs' breathable Hurricane fabric—eliminating uncomfortable clammy leg syndrome as you hike. These lightweight rain pants take up little room in your backpack or luggage for easy traveling. The Hurricane Full Zip Rain Pant's ankle zippers make it easy to slip on the pants while wearing your shoes or boots and release pent up heat when you really need to cool off.

Bottom Line: Make it to your next campspot despite Mother Nature's nastiness with the help of the Sierra Designs Hurricane Rain Pant.

A bit long (I think 32" inseam), but for $$ on SAC, I can't complain.

Very compressable and stowable in the provided bag

The trouble with full zip is that sometimes the front and rear waist belts are not connected because the zip goes all the way up. Does this have one belt that goes round, or is it split b/c of the full zipper?

Good deal

Bought these on SAC for a great price. Have only used them once on an ill-fated rain adventure. The DWR coating holds up well against strong rain and the fit for me was perfect. I have 34" waist and leg and got the large size. The fabric didnt hold up too well when I slipped and fell grinding against rocks. So they aren't the hardiest constructed pants out there, but they sure get the job done well.

I own these pants and while they are great pants for shedding the rain and staying dry as it gets I wouldn't buy them if your deciding factor is getting your boots thru the legs unzipped with boots on. I wear a size 8 1/2 (crow foot for a man) and I can't get my foot thru them with my boots on. Hope this helps!

no high waters

Great rain pants, small problem, the legs are 3 inches too long but easy to fold over, and the crotch to waist ratio is wanting, the waist is an inch shorter then my actual waist and i cant pull them up any more because the crotch is too high. i give this item a 8 of 10
