Good simple stake with a sturdy design, it can stand some heaving hitting without bending. I bought these to replace some Marmot tent stakes that came with my Twilight tent.

Tent stakes are location specific in my mind. Hex heads have exceeded my expectations in the NE; great for grassy knolls, dense soils, root areas, etc. The looser and drier the ground/soil, the less likely these will stay put in a storm.
