The Sierra Designs Garnet 20 Backpack is a gem of a pack that'll take you from morning commutes to afternoon cragging to all-day hikes. Whether you're traveling heavy or light, the HDPE framesheet provides all the support you need, and the ventilated lumbar panel and shoulder straps help keep you cool and comfortable when you're on the trail or the bike. If your mission's an extra-light one, you can pop off the padded waist belt and just use the simple nylon webbing belt for support, but don't forget to toss a bladder in the hydration sleeve so you don't get thirsty on the way. If you need more, you can throw some water bottles in the stretchy side panels and stick some snacks in the waist-belt stash pockets, so you'll be fully prepared for a long day of gettin' after it.
