Light gets lighter.
The Flashlight 2 FL Tent is the featherlight version of Sierra Designs' ever-popular backpacking tent. Without scrapping any of the comfortable features, Sierra Designs made this tent ten ounces lighter than its predecessor. Its hybrid construction combines the lightness of a single-wall tent with the durable weather-protection of a double-wall. This construction includes a light yet strong ripstop fly, an easy-to-clean water-resistant floor, and no-see-um mesh walls for ventilation.
As stated earlier, the Flashlight 2 FL Tent still has the same comfortable features as the Flashlight 2 despite its lighter weight. This tent still has two large drop doors that you can zip down for air and stay protected from weather and sun thanks to the awning coverage. There are two vestibules for gear, a defined footprint, and six stakes for an easy setup. Trekking pole compatible means you can make your load even lighter by switching out the light and durable DAC poles with your own trekking poles.

- Q & A
I'm returning a Kelty Trail Ridge 3 tent that I bought because it is absolutely too heavy for 50+ miles of backpacking. I'm attracted to the pack size of this tent - Really 13x4.5?! - is that right? But Im concerned about what everyone else is mentioning with this tent - the condensation. Backpacking for 15 days in October, I really dont want to get anything wet. Tips? Any similar weight/packed size tents I should consider? Thanks!
This does have a packed size of 13 (length) x 4.5 (diameter) inches! It's pretty rad from that aspect but this does require the use of trekking poles to stay up.
A few other tents to consider:
