Toast your toes in the Sierra Designs Pull On Down Bootie Slipper. Long days of trekking through snowy landscapes and battling the frost call for royal foot treatment, and this bootie\222s generous helping of 700-fill down answers the call. A rough-and-tumble nylon sole means the jog across base camp to get cards from the next tent won\222t be a problem.

Bottom Line: Treat your feet.

Martha, these are highly compressible booties for use in backpacking and camping, so the bed of the bootie is much like the sides, baffled chambers holding 700 fill down. There isn't a footbed as there is in a slipper or moccasin. You might think of these as baffled and insulated socks.

Love these booties!

I bought these booties for winter back packing, but I have been wearing them nightly here at home. This past weekend I backpacked on Mt Hood. 1.5 foot of snow, 40 MPH gusts and temps in the single digits. I got my hiking boots saturated crossing a river and the booties is all I had to wear. I wore these booties inside the tent and out for two days and they performed beautifully! I plan to buy another pair just to have a spare pair! LOVE these booties :-)

good bootie, not the correct model

By:
July 13, 2011

There are two versions of the bootie on this page. I messaged customer service to confirm the black booties I ordered would have a drawstring, but the model that arrived didn't have one. A little disappointed, but still a great bootie.

I usually wear an 8.5 or 9. Ordered a 9, but wish I had ordered an 8.

Not at all. They aren't even very water resistant. They are meant to be used mostly in your tent or around camp some.

Got these for just lounging around the house for my wife. She wears them every day during the winter. She absolutely loves them!

There is variance in the models between the black and the two

There is variance in the models between the black and the two others. Is that to say the color ordered determines the actual model received, or is one picture more accurate than the other?

The black photo is wrong. The black version will look like the other two but in black
