Great Booties but sizing chart is off

These are great booties but the sizing is way off. My kids are 10 and 12 years old and wear size 5 and 6 boys. The XL was way too small, it looks like it would fit ages 5 and 6, not sizes 5 and 6. But no problem returning it, Backcountry pays for shipping and makes returns so easy, which is one reason I always buy from them if I can. Anyways, I ordered the Men's small and medium which fit great. The men's are a little more expensive than kid's version but they should last many years and they have some grow room. We use these daily in our house in the mountains of Virginia and we take them on our snowboarding and backpacking trips, they are light, packable, warm and washable. Shake your booties, whoohoo...

Can someone clear up the sizing challenge others are mentioning in the reviews? I would like a pair for my 4 year old who wears a size 11 shoe (little boys). What size slipper would he wear?

I have a pair of Sierra Design Booties that I just love and wanted to buy my daughter a pair. The Sizing is so far off!! Really dissapointed!! I ordered their XL and it would probably fit a 6 yr old or less. Now I'll have to pay to return them. Don't think I'll try again. They need to revamp their sizing chart.

These slippers are a great version of down booties for kids. They are well built and not "sloppy" (i.e., they hold a shape). In my opinion they run on the small side. I ordered 4 pair and although I finally maxed out in XL they still didn't fit my kids.
Change me.
