Description

Minimalist protection for lightweight pursuits.

After a long, exhausting day in the backcountry, those looking to save weight climb into the Sierra Designs Baffin Bivy. Designed for ultralight backpackers, alpinists, and big wall climbers, this bivy sack features DriZone waterproof shell fabric and fully taped, PVC-free seams to seal out stormy weather. And at right around a pound, the Baffin won’t even be noticed until the weather rolls in.
  • Single-wall bivy design saves weight by eliminating the need for a tent canopy and fly; ideal for three-season climbing and trekking applications
  • DriZone waterproof breathable shell fabric repels wet weather while allowing excess heat and condensation to escape
  • PVC-free seam taping and coated nylon floor protect against leakage when harsh weather strikes
  • Large mesh window circulates air without letting critters in
  • A guy-out attachment lets you anchor in on ledges or exposed camps
