The Sidi Women's Zeta Bike Shoes provide an adjustable, comfortable fit. The padded tongue has perforations, so it can bend around your foot and not cause pressure points, and the three Velcro-brand fasteners let you choose how tight. Rigid Millennium 2 outsoles transmit your body's power to the pedal, so you ride strong. Replaceable heel pads make walking to the post-ride celebration a bit easier. A portion of the proceeds Sidi makes on the Zeta shoe goes to the Pink Ribbon Program to fight breast cancer.

Bottom Line: Wear the super comfortable Sidi Zeta Bike Shoes for your next century ride.

The mens run a little small in the toe box and I hear the womens are much the same. The best tool for getting the right size sidi is to use the Sidi Shoe Sizer template.http://www.sidiusa.com/contents/en-us/SIDIShoeSizer.pdf

There's no reason you couldn't use this shoe for spin class. However, if that is all you are going to be using it for then you should consider a less expensive mountain bike shoe that is easier to walk in. Road shoes can tend to be a little hazardous on smooth surfaces such as tile.

Absolutely, but you really don't need this kind of performance on a spin bike.

Most cycling shoes are good for spinning as long as you don't walk much to and from class. Look for spd cleat compatibility since most gym use a standard spd pedal if you choose to clip in.Around my gym the brand new Bontrager Street WSD has become very popular for casual spinners that are not dedicated riders. It is a great spinning shoe because it is a casual look that you can walk in with standard 2-hole spd cleat compatibility.

Look at some Sidi mega-sizes (wide). Backcountry doesn't currently have any women's wide shoes in stock, but they're well worth it.

Bought these and love them so far. However, I'm experiencing some pressure/rubbing from the tongue. Will this subside with time and 'break in'?

I would get them wet and walk around in them/ wear them for a bit that should help mold them to your feet.

Yes, the tongue will eventually loosen up and break in, however that could be rather painful. You can try breaking it in by bending it upward slightly and trying to get it to take the shape that will not dig in to you so much.
