Designed with heavier riders in mind, the Sic Fish Stand-Up Paddleboard will prevent you from sinking as you wait in the lineup and will properly slice through the surf thanks to its surfy shape and reinforced fish tails. The Fish has a very specific set of skills, and those skills cater to playing in the waves and riding high on the fun meter. The Fish will crush just about any size of wave you decide to point it down, but it will really come to life on those mid to large waves we all aspire to surf. Heavier paddlers will appreciate the extra volume the Fish offers, while lighter paddlers will vibe on the stable, yet maneuverable feel the board has on those small- to mid-sized waves.
The actual construction of the fish consists of a double-wrap fiberglass composite with a lightweight EPS core to keep the board light and nimble. The reinforced Tuff-Wood deck delivers a solid and stable platform to lineup sets from from, while the quad fin construction keeps the board stable, yet playful once you do catch that big one. The deck is fitted with a grooved EVA deck pad, which keeps your feet firmly in place when you're rolling the board from side to side, and the single ergonomic handle makes transporting the board's manageable 21 pounds to and from the water as painless as possible.
