Slip a pair of XTR Disc Brake Rotors on your Shimano hubs, and you'll reduce both rotor stress and swap time between race and training wheelsets. The Centerlock interface lets you pull the rotor off without unbolting, making wheel switches a one-rotor job and eliminating caliper calibration. The multi-spline link between the hub and rotor also allows for a bigger spider, enhancing brake modulation and reducing power-robbing flex. *Sold individually; compatible only w/ Shimano Centerlock hubs

Bottom Line: All Shimano, no play—the Centerlock XTR Disc Brake Rotor.

The 09 Mavic SLR is offered in a center lock version. These rotors will work with the center lock SLRs.

Couldn't pass up the deal at 50+ bucks. These are my second set of the new generation XTR CLs, and 4 set of XTR CLs overall. If you can swing it, get this new generation. Way better.

Yes, just make sure you have Shimano centerlock hubs. I use them on a set of Avid mechanicals.

Very cool way to go

The centerlock works great. It's easy to install, secure, and shaves off a few extra grams. Just make sure your hub is compatable, as most hubs hubs are not. You need a hub that specificlly says it's compatable with Shimano center locks, as it's patented and licensed by Shimano. I went with the DT Swiss hubs.

I went with the 180mm for the front, and am glad that I did. The stopping power difference between 180mm and 160mm is dramatic.

I'm totally happy with this purchase.

I assume you are thinking about chaning your rotor- there are two types of disc rotors; One has 6 bolts, the other uses the centerlock technology. I believe Saint Hubs require a separate version of centerlock - do your homework on those. The rotors are available in 4 sizes, 6" or 160mm is the more common mtb size. If you want to swap out your brake caliper (the part that has the pads) it will depend on what type of system you are using; cable pull (mechanical) or a fluid based system. Typically you would replace a caliper, hose and lever at the same time with the same matching system.
