It sounds like your setup has a square tapered bottom bracket, unfortunately BC doesn't carry square tapered BB's. For your bike you will need a 68mm width shell, english threaded, with a 110mm length spindle. You should consider heading down to your local bike shop for help with this.

Will this work as a replacement on my old 9spd shimano dura ace

Will this work as a replacement on my old 9spd shimano dura ace 7700 series (Octalink) English threaded bottom bracket. I have been told the old Ultegra is better than the old dura ace which wears out quickly and has alot of rotational drag (ie Velo News)I have the double crankset. thanks Mark

Your bottom bracket is designated octalink V1 splined. The Shimano hollowtech series listed will not be compatible with your current crankset. Here are some Shimano compatible BB's; Octalink V1(not V2!) Spline: 9 speed BB-M952 (XTR), BB-7700 (Dura-Ace), BB-6500 (Ultegra), BB5500 (105) V1 BB spline grooves 5 mm long, ridges 2.2 mm wide.
