Description

Light, stiff, and fast.

When you strap on the Shimano SH-R087G Shoe you can easily adjust the micro buckle from foot-wrapping snugness for full power, sprint winning hammering—or back the buckle off to increase comfort and ventilation. A glass fiber-reinforced polyamide sole opposes flex so your muscle power efficiently transfers to the drive train, while an anatomical and breathable last provides long-term comfort for your dogs.

These shoes run fairly true to size and are reasonably comfortable. They take a little getting used to, but for the price these are pretty solid. I've ridden in them a few times well over 30 miles and my feet felt fine afterward.

do these come with the cleats?

Howdy chunky.che2203670,

As a solid rule of thumb...cleats always come with pedals and never the shoes.

I purchase these from another retailer and wish I hadn't. They are terribly uncomfortable after more than say 20 miles. There is little to speak of for the interior of the shoe and I went so far as to replace the liner with a set from a pair of running shoes to get the kind of foot support I needed. I will never buy a pair of Shimano shoes again.

If your feet are as wide as mine, you know how hard it is to find shoes that fit. Your choices are pretty much limited to Lake and Sidi. I tried these, and was surprised how well they fit my ee feet. They also have a tall toe box, so if pinched toes are a problem, these might help. I wear a 45.5 Lake, and ordered these in a 46 for a perfect fit. They worked perfectly on my 24-French-alpine-col tour in June (Alpe d'Huez, Croix de fer/ Glandon/Galibier/Madeleine/Columbiere/Telegraphe/Izouard/Iseran/L Plagne/Joux Plane/Deux Alpes/M Cenis/Colle delle Finestre, etc, even though I hardly had more than a couple of pre-trip rides to break them in!

These shoes are for road, but they do have 2 hole cleat mounting as well so it could technically fit road or mountain pedals, although the smooth carbon soles would make dirt/mountain walking kinda precarious.
