    Long-term trail comfort.

The Shimano SH-M162 Shoes strike the perfect balance between functionality on and off the bike. A stiff midsole provides lots of power transfer and reduces potential for uncomfortable hot spots, while the rubber outsole gives tons of grip and walkability for those times when you have to jump off your bike and scramble up the trail.

Shimano had comfort in mind when designing these shoes. With a roomier fit than some of the competition-focused shoes out there, these shoes are made to keep toes comfy for long days on the bike complete with some hike-a-bike situations. A micro-adjust buckle and two hook-and-loop straps let you customize the fit for a comfy ride every time you clip in.

Not bad, but could be better

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size

I got these to replace an older, similar level, shimano shoe that I had for years and beat the crap out of. These don't feel as burley, nor do they fit quite the same. It is definitely not a bad shoe, but it is definitely not an equal replacement for the shoes I had before.
