PD-M424 SPD Dual Platform Pedal

The M424 is a great pedal for those who are uncomfortable with the minimal design of racing pedals. A black resin body surrounds the clipless system, and the clipless portion sticks up at a 12.5-degree angle so it's easier to engage the cleat into the clip. This is also an unusual pedal for Shimano in that the "step up" M545 is heavier and more expensive than the M424. The drawback is that the resin cage isn't as durable as the alloy cage on the m545.
