Dura-Ace CN-7901 Chain

Chains are chains are chains. Some work better with certain drivetrains than others, but besides that it's all the same, right? Welllllll maybe not. Shimano's Dura-Ace CN-7901 Chain is a slightly different breed, with numerous refinements that make it lighter, crisper, and smoother than most other chains out there. First of all, it's 11g lighter than its predecessor, courtesy of hollow pins and perforated inner and outer plates. It's also asymmetrical, which might sound weird, but it actually makes it move to bigger rings faster and more smoothly, so there's no drag or delay when you need to change up. It also helps the CN-7901 stay silky smooth and quiet, so you can sneak up people and blow past them before they even hear you coming.
