Your little tyke wants to go on outings as much as you do, so pack the rug rat along with the Sherpani Rumba Superlight Kid Carrier. The Superlight is just that—superlight. So instead of eating ibuprofen after lugging a heavy pack AND Suzie around, you can enjoy snow cones and PB&J sandos while appreciating breathtaking views. The sunshade and rain cover keeps Suzie smiling no matter what Mother Nature has in store—too bad you aren’t 4 years old.

  • Large mesh back pocket and lower compartment for lunch and snacks
  • Five security straps with padded foam make for a whine-free afternoon
  • Adjusts for 17-20in torso sizes, and the waist-belt fits 29-42in waists, perfect for you winter beer belly.

Bottom Line: If it only it had the hungry hippos game built in.

Great Carrier

I researched carriers before I bought this one. I opted to go with a light carrier in order to be a little more forgiving to my back. I have only used it a few times but I have to tell you I love it. My 22 lb child honestly feels like barely any weight in it. I have a ergo carrier too, but my son didn't like it because he always has to face in towards me. He loves this carrier because he stays quiet in it the entire time I am carrying him around (usually for a walk in the neighborhood).
The carrier also fits me nicely and I am a small female only 5'3" with a small frame. I read one complaint about this carrier that the baby sits so far away from your back, but that isn't true. You can adjust the straps to bring your child in closer to you if you want.
I have only two negatives about it. One is that the kickstand will not stay in. It worries me that when I go to use it next month in the Caribbean on hikes, it will get caught on things. The second gripe I have about it, is that when your baby falls asleep their head has no place to rest. My son fell asleep the first time I used it with him and his head was just hanging forward because he was strapped in with the harness which kept his body upright but not his head. Then it whipped back to the side when I leaned over a bit.
Other than those two things I love this product and would recommend it to others. By the way, the hood that is provided with the product covers up your baby entirely if you place the rain shield on it. The photo of the product does not show the rain shield so I wanted people to know that it will protect your baby if need be. That was one of the reasons I almost didn't buy this product was because I did not think it would cover my baby if it rained, but it does.
