Sherpani Nuvie Diaper Bag - 2010 BCS

I really wanted to like this bag. I like this company a lot and was excited to see Sherpani offer a diaper bag. It's big, which I wanted, but it's almost too big and stiff and structured. It felt a little like carrying a cardboard box. Also, there are lots of pockets but on the outside, there are only a couple small pockets that can be readily accessed without unclasping the bag (there is a top zipper which allows for access to the guts of the bag but I didn't find myself using it). The long and short of it - I couldn't find a good place for my wallet, blackberry, a pen, and lip balm. Sadly, I'm returning.

As a mother of two with one on the way I love bags that don't scream diaper bag, because in a few years they won't be used as such! This bag is great because it can be used for a diaper bag but it also can be Mom's own gym bag, school bag etc. The bag holds a lot, whether it's books for church or food and diapers for a play date. I love that it comes with a matching changing pad. You never know where you'll need that! Great idea Sherpani!

I got this diaper bag after MUCH searching for one that I thought would be large enough to replace our precious one that was falling apart. So far it's been a fantastic replacement, roomy enough for our cloth diapers, yet not so large that you feel like you should be going to the airport! I also love that it doesn't look like a diaper bag so when we're "done" with babies, it can be repurposed. Oh and the price cannot be beat! We originally decided to get a "cheap" bag, but wow, were they ever cheap! but for not even twice as much, we got a very high quality bag that will last got a LONG time.

Yes, I'm a male. Yes I carry this diaper bag. I bought it since I do quite a bit with my nephew. This bag pretty much rocks, doesn't look like a diaper bag at all and overall doesn't really look like it would be a women's bag. All sorts of pockets in this thing as well as a large size. Can hold pretty much everything, I use this for days when I'm around town or a small hike with the kid and don't want to carry a backpack. The included/matching changing mat is awesome if you're still in the diaper phase since you can use it everywhere. Also with this pack being 67% recycled you're being eco-friendly as well. Do it to it everyone!
