10k waterproof rating (like the mens version), and I'm not sure about the coating but I assume it isn't coated.

I wore this jacket while skiing in Vail, CO in Feb. 2008. I am a size small, but had to buy a med. in order to layer underneath. With only two layers I was warm. My only problem: the jacket is so light that even with the drawstring pulled tight at the hip, it rides up. It would have been better with a built in powder skirt.

It looks very close to what is pictured above. It may be a touch darker. I have uploaded a close up detailed view of the color to show as accurate a picture of what it actually looks like.
