Turn the sidewalk into your freeway as you dodge pedestrians on the Sector 9 Carbon Decay Longboard. A five-ply maple deck with carbon fiber reinforcement creates a flexy, durable board for a delicious mix of carving and high-speed stability. Drop-through top mount provides more torque and response when a car pulls out in front of you. The cutaway tip and tail lets you really lay out turns in the cul-de-sac and the Carbon Decay’s big dimensions let you speed away without getting squirrely.

  • Wheel colors on completes may vary, but the deck graphic will be as pictured

Amazing Downhill cruising, Nice setup

I have this basic setup with the standard truck mount not the drop through but have the same trucks and wheels with Bones Plus bearings.
The fibreglass top and bottom laminate over the wood laminates gives you strength, flexibility and a super light board that fits in most School lockers. The trucks can be adjusted to your weight and carving style with one nut due to the reverse pivot center pin and they hold the line up to crazy speeds without speed-wobble but will carve perfectly when you need them to. The sector 9 75a durometer wheels are soft enough that they will fly over grit sealed roads and with the Bones Red + bearings, I've had to run off the board on a minor graded parking lot. The wheel bearing combination is the most ergonomic and fastest combo I've ridden and the deck has the perfect flex and super-fast snap for quick controlled carves. More like a snowboard than a skateboard. Keep up the good work

this board is good for carving, but is it...

this board is good for carving, but is it good for going fast and cruising?

Responded on

Yes it will be good for bombing hills. The longer the board is the more stable it will be for going faster. You also want the single kingpin truck for going faster which this board has.

Responded on

absolutely, it is a drop mount board. they are very stable and low. also it is pretty much an upgraded version of the sector 9 Kommi which was a fantastic speed board.
