Quit digging around in your bow hatch for the small stuff.

Instead of packing the pockets of your PFD with your small essentials, drop them inside the Baja Deck Bag and strap this sucker near the cockpit of your boat. The waterproof main zipper closure keeps electronics or non-water-friendly gear from getting soaked inside and on the outside, the small mesh pocket and front elastic cords holds items that can get wet. Thick nylon and welded seams put up with seasons of abuse on the water, and when you hit dry land you can carry this bag thanks to the removable shoulder strap.

Great storage option

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just got this bag after eyeing it for many months. I'm really happy with it. There's ample storage inside so I don't feel the need to strap a million things to my life jacket. Water bottle, food, phone, and VHF radio all fit with room to spare. It doesn't get in the way of paddling, either. The one thing I couldn't figure out from the pictures was how it attached. There are two large velcro straps on the bottom of the bag that you loop around your deck lines. That's the one thing I'm not crazy about. Simple clips would have been easier. I do like that there's a strap so you can sling it over your shoulder and carry it. All in all, it's a great way to keep a bunch of things within arm's reach and keep them dry.

Good Deck bag

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I needed a deck bag for longer SUP tours. It attaches easily to the deck and stays put. Easy to get in and out of and keeps the water out (I doubt if it's fully water proof/submersible). A plus is that the yellow color makes finding items inside a bit easier than if it were dark inside. The other plus is being able to remove it and use it as a backpack, which when carrying a SUP around is a nice feature. I took off a star because it seems there are some other bags that look similar that are priced a bit lower, so there is the possibility of a better value for money out there, but SealLine usually makes a good product so I was willing to pay a bit more.

Well designed and does exactly what it's meant to do. Easy waterproof access at your fingertips!

Great Deck Bag

Attaches using 2 velcro straps. Secure, but would've appreciated having D-rings/clips on the corners as well. Not completely waterproof as website says, but deifnitely kept everything I needed while out (trail mix, beef jerky, etc...) nice and dry. Very well constructed. Worth the money.
