    a must for white water

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Initially I had less than no interest in this product, my better half however thought they'd be infinitely useful. We packed them along in our day packs while making a day hike out of a section of the AT in Nantahala national forest. We spent the better portion of our afternoon on the river with an NOC white water rafting trip. Soaked head to toe this little towel got put to the test. It's an overachiever for its size, s2s makes larger towels but I'm not really sure you need one any bigger. Pleasantly surprised.

    you never know!

Super convenient! I keep this thing with me all the time, during the summer I kept it in my pack to dry stuff off, if I got in the water to get immediate water off of me, whatever! doesn't replace a normal towel but it helps, Also I keep it in my bag when I go to the climbing gym to wipe sweat away, you'll never know what you need it for or can use it for, but you'll never know if you don't have it. I will say this I have the medium size and I definitely opt for the larger version, it packs down super small, no reason not to have one of these with you.

    Thin Towel!

I couldn't believe how thin this towel is, it's very light weight and packs down small. I don't use the included storage sack, the towel easily folds up well by itself. It will absorb quite a bit of water and dries really fast. I grabbed the size SM and it's great for my camping kitchen, and drying dishes! I am stoked on the berry color and the purchase.

      Solid Camping/Backpacking Towel

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

The towel is really good minus one major thing - it absorbs water from your body but it doesn't feel like it's actually drying your skin. Otherwise as advertised it's lightweight and holds a ton of water.

      Poseidon's Towel of Choice

I've found this thing invaluable while traveling/backpacking. It absorbs an absurd amount of water and dries very quickly (can go from soaking wet to usably dry in about an hour if you hang it up). I use the L size and its more than enough to completely dry me off after a shower or an impromptu dip in a river. I've never noticed it holding a smell, but I usually wash it after every few uses. The included storage sack seems pointless, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just ball it up or fold it and stick it in your pack.

What is the difference, if any, between this and Sea to Summit's DryLite towel?
