Bring the Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline on camping and hotel-traveling trips. This clothesline stows away in a tiny nylon pouch, and the dual cord with beads work together to keep your garments secure on the line. The Lite Line Clothesline gives you a bit more than 11 feet of hanging goodness, so you can wash and dry without having to resort to hanging undies on tree limbs or over hotel balconies. Plus, this Sea To Summit line only weighs 1.3 ounces.

Bottom Line: A dual cord and beads on the Sea To Summit Clothesline keep your underwear from blowing off the line and into the neighboring campsite.

It's a little hard to see in the stock picture, but the thing sticking out of the bag at the bottom is a small plastic hook, which is attached to the bag. You wrap the line around a tree or whatever and clip the hook on the line - one side is not taken care of. The other end of the line has small plastic cinch for adjusting the length of the line, and another plastic hook that you can move around the line as needed. So it takes a few minutes to play with the first time you do it, but then you get the hang of it and can tighten it up once both ends are attached. The beads do a decent job of holding your stuff to dry, as long as they aren't too heavy or slick.

Too Complicated.

I ordered these and promptly returned them. This clothesline is way too long and complicated. Having two long stringy pieces to deal with in a small hotel room is too much. Instead I have ordered the shorter, rubber ones which have three strands braided together tightly. This kind is more compact and quicker to wind up when its time to pack it away.

Its a clothes line

Its a clothes line that is very small, adjustable, and is permanently attached to its pouch so you can't lose it. Indispensable when living out of hotels/hostels for a month. Small enough that I will probably even bring it on summer backpacking trips now.

Is the cord supposed to be attached to the inside of the bag?

Is the cord supposed to be attached to the inside of the bag? Aslo, is there supposed to be a "guy line hook" at the bag-end?

Yes it is supposed to be attached to the inside of the bag. Yes it has a guy line hook, you can see it in the photo.

Alright I 'spose.

I had one that I left in Thailand that was twisted elastic that you just untwist and poke in the corner of the clothes. That one was awesome.

This one had beads that are supposed to hold the clothes up... they do an ok job, but there could be improvements.
