eVAC Dry Sack

The Sea-to-Summit eVAC Dry Bag uses a waterproof and breathable eVENT fabric to keep your gear bone dry. It’s like a compression sack, but the design allows you to simply push excess air out the bottom eVENT panel as you roll down the top. No more compression straps, and no more busted seams from reefing too hard on said straps. Plus, the base is oval, so it won’t roll off the deck and float down the river without you.

Very nice dry sack! Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice dry sack! Used one for kayaking and camping. Being able to squeeze the air out while it's closed is a very nice feature, makes packing up much easier!

Just got back from 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got back from 3 day trip trying out all the new gear I had gotten and the sea to summit bags worked great. The evac dry sacks worked perfectly in my ruck and made packing a whole lot easier. Would highly recommend the evac bags for hiking and backpacking

Perfect for down bag/quilt

Better than the compression bags for your down sleep bag or quilt. Keeps dry, and can squish in your pack to fill any void, instead of being formed into a hard ball. Also built as a flatter oval instead of round base, so fits very well horixontally in a pack, expecially the 8L size at the bottom, with other gear flattening it down.

Best dry sack for compressible items

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dry sack. Not a fan of the trash bag liner disorder, so I use combo of dry sacks and mylar zip bags (light, odor blocking). I use a 20 L for sleeping bag, liner, down coat, and sleep clothes if using. Push air out and use as a pancake layer in bag. Will hold/further compress with weight of other layers, but also conforms to shapes of backpack better. Prefer moldable layers to compressed cylinders where possible. Picking up 13L for clothes or when using lighter sleep setup, but still wide enough to fill a thin layer in bag.

I love the weight and

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the weight and strength of my eVac Dry Sack. It's lasted me years and when I had a product defect the warranty department helped me get a perfect replacement.

Great Dry Bag to use as a pack liner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] eVac Dry Sack fits perfectly into my Blaze 60 backpack as a pack liner. All my gear is in Dyneema dry bags and then placed into the eVac Dry Sack. This gives me double protection. The eVac Dry sack is great because you can fill it up and compress the air out through the bottom of the bag and then close it like a normal dry sacks with the plastic buckle. The buckle looks sturdy and the re-enforced top edge of the bag makes it easy to roll down and snap close. The bag weighs 131g due to the re-enforce top edge and the plastic buckle. Highly recommend it for the price, craftsmanship, and ease of use.

The beauty of my 13

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beauty of my 13 L dry sack is that it pretty much does what my compression bags do, without the bulk and weight. It has room for my sleeping bag, but it also can store a few clothes and roll up very small. It weighs almost nothing. Love it.

You need it

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

If you are getting a dry sack with the intents on compressing the contents, this is the bag to get. With other dry sacks, you have to try to compress the contents first. Then try to quickly roll down the sack, before the air gets back in. This sack lets you throw your stuff in it. Then roll the bag down and compress as you go. The eVAC slowly lets the air out. So you don't have to deal with a ballon in your pack. Saving space. So, if you intend on comressing your stuff, I'd pay the extra $$ for this sack.
