Dry Indeed!

I'd have to say I really like this towel! I purchased two XL towels and a single XS. The extra larges really are quite big approximately the size of a beach towel. If you are camping/backpacking quite a bit I would recommend maybe the Large. I carried the only towel for four people and we didn't have any problems drying everyone off after swimming in a river. Just had to squeeze the towel dry (after the 2nd person) and use again.

Cataract Canyon

Just finished a rafting trip thru Cataract Canyon and this towel worked fantastic. Highly absorbant and dries fast. Will find many uses for this towel in the future.

Handy Towel

Great towel! When space is a concern and you're around water this becomes an important item. Leave it in the car and you'll always have a way to clean those dog's up before they get in.

Office and Trail Essential

I keep one of these at the office - it is perfect for an emergency towel when I want to shower after a quick lunchtime ride but don't have space at my desk for a regular towel. It also dries in an hour or so, so you don't grow funk on your towel from having it sit in a closed space, just air it out for an hour then stuff it back into a drawer.

On the trail, I used to go without a towel, but this is so light and compact that it seems worth bringing along. Overall, this is on my top 10 list for favorite gear items. Love it.

drylite xl

This thing is great. I purchased the XL and was gonna take it backpacking but to me is alittle to large . so will use it car camping or around the house.
I can only get it packed down to a 4x6 square . still pretty small but takes up as much room as two pairs of socks rolled up.

awesome

I used to think a towel's a towel, until I found this little guy. It packs incredibly small, and absorbs an impressive amount of water. I for the small size. It's about as small as I'd go to try your whole body. Perfect for a hands/face towel, or minimalist backpacking towel.

Love it!

I bought the XL size and is huge, which I love cause it wraps me really nice. It dries me really quick and when you pack it on your bag it doesn't takes that much of space. I just love it!

Great

Great towel. I have the small and I always take it with me camping and backpacking now. Absorbs an absurd amount of liquid and can be washed in the washing machine.

Great for travel

Great towel for traveling, I just took it to Thailand for 3 weeks and used it on the beach, at the bungalows, I bought an XL and it folds up nicely and doesn't take up a lot of space, not a big deal it doesn't come with a bag.

Sea To Summit DryLite Towel

Perfect travel towel. I went with medium if you are looking for a good balance of light and packable but still big enough you don't feel like its a hand towel. Recommend Large or XL if you want something you can fully wrap around your waist.

Can't get any lighter, faster drying than this..

When weight is an issue, this is the towel grab! So light and thin, super absorbent. It shouldn't matter that this doesn't come with a little diddy bag like the other ones. If weight is your concern, than a little stuff sack just adds more oz. I use this for backpacking, travel, camping, and wildfire assignments. The stitching on the edge of the towel on mine has started to go, but it doesn't really seem to be falling apart or anything. It does get stinky if you haven't washed it in a long time.

Very useful and absorbent

Perfect size for packing down. I carry a large and a small when my girlfriend and I hike together and collectively they add very little weight or volume to my pack. The large can dry both of us after a wash up in the creek, but don't expect to wear it around your waist and trot around camp. You might need the XL for that, otherwise you may be showing off your naughty bits. The small is good for miscellaneous stuff. I usually keep it handy for wiping sweat when it is hot outside. Dries pretty quickly. I have read reviews from people that say that it dries when packed wet. Mine did not. And it smelled pretty bad afterwards. That was my only gripe with this product, but it is to be expected from a microfiber product.

time for the 2nd one

I have got this one last summer for camping but I have used it for swimming, traveling, taking shower, etc. I have let my little niece try it out and she calls it Magic Towel, so today I came to buy one for her and a larger one for myself. Just to let you know that the medium or large one is not good for pool or beach you have to go with a larger one. Also do not forget to buy a sack for it(a perforateted one) to be able to pack even when it is wet. I am so much in love with it but would love to have more option in size and color and probably a case which comes with it.

Great Towel

Just bought this for my upcoming trip to Africa with the Peace Corps for two years. I have never owned a camping towel before, and bought this one based upon the reviews I read here on backcountry.com. I wanted lightweight, fast drying, and length. I'm a 5'9 and not the skinniest girl on the block and this towel (the XL size) provides MORE than enough room for a full wrap around. I tested this after a shower to towel off and dry my hair which is pretty thick and it did the job better than expected. The whole towel dried within a minute....I felt like I was watching it dry! The XL towel will probably take up a bit more room in my pack than the M or L, but it's worth it to have the comfort of a full towel away from home. Buy it and you won't regret it! Great material too!!! Nice and soft!
