Description

Get a grip on your grub.

Sea to Summit wants to make sure you can eat your oatmeal comfortably on backpacking trips, which is why the Delta Bowl has a Protex hex pattern at the base to keep your food nice and toasty for a long time. Made out of food-grade nylon, this bowl is both lightweight and safe to eat out of. There are measurement increments on the inside to help you cook, and an thumbhole gives you a good grip on the bowl.

  • Food-grade nylon 66, BPA-free
  • Protex hex pattern at base

Won't work: the bowl is plastic and will melt.

Don't put boiling water in it after it's boiled either. It won't fall apart, but Nylon 6-6 does leech slightly in boiling water. I'd recommend the FairShare Mug (http://www.backcountry.com/gsi-outdoors-fairshare-mug-lex) if you want to use it with boiling water. Plus, the FairShare has a screw-on lid which makes it so much more useful. If you want something you can boil water in, get a small titanium or steel pot (http://www.backcountry.com/snow-peak-cook-and-save-titanium-pot) and eat out of that. It's more expensive, obviously, but much more versatile.
