Stay warm. Remain dry.
The Scott Women's Trail MTN Hybrid Polar Plus Jacket is a versatile layer for cool-weather riding, regulating your body temperature as you climb towering peaks and descend into sunbaked valleys below. What's the secret to its thermo-regulating properties? Polartech Power Dry fabric effectively insulates while rapidly pulling perspiration off your body to prevent overheating. The result is a soft, thermal-insulating layer that won't bathe you in sweat when you're slogging up steep climbs and riding through variable temperatures.
Abrasion-resistant stretch panels along the arms and lower back enhance flexibility when you're dodging trail obstacles and weaving through tight aspen groves. Also, these panels prevent premature wear and tear, especially when you're rocking a hydration pack on the trail. Other trail-smart details include a zippered chest pocket for convenient storage and reflective details for boosted visibility.
- Item #SCO00FJ
- Q & A
- Fit: Runs small
I think it will be fine as a base layer- maybe second layer- but it is far to snug to wear as a top layer. Should be comfortable for chilly day ride. Thumb hole in a weird spot so I probably won't use it- I have long arms.
Light, Stretchy, Versatile Jacket
- Fit: Runs small
This jacket is very light in weight and stretchy. It could be worn as a base layer, middle layer, or top layer. It is compactable and can easily be packed in your camelback or backpack for biking without taking up very much room. I already own other clothing made of this material, and know that it is highly temperature regulating. That is one of the reasons I purchased it. Perfect for going up and down hills biking where one moment you are hot and the next moment you are cold. THere are thumbholes on the sleeves if you want to use them, otherwise you can push them up and use like regular sleeves. I think it runs small, and advise ordering one size up. I am 5'0", 34 C.
