There is a reason the Scott Team Issue Ski Poles are a favorite of free skiers. Rugged 3.6 disc baskets won't slow your swing, and the 60mm width keeps the poles riding high above the powder. If only this comfy-carrying pole could help you stick your landings.

The Go-To pole

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Scott has made the best poles for years. The team issue pole is light, durable with a form fitting grip. Don't go with anything else...this is the pole you need.

Best pole I have ever used

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am not sure what made me pick these up a few years back, but boy oh boy am I glad I did. These puppies could be tossed out of the back of a truck and run over by another and they will be straight as a rail. I have used these for the last 5 seasons, so I do not know how this year's model holds up, but I am sure Scott came through again. GO BUY THESE. How many poles have you been through in the last 5 years? More than 1? Then spend the few extra dollars for something good. I'm a big athletic guy and actually put all of my 250 lb frame on one of my poles with the edge of my ski on a fairly steep off piste run earlier in the year. Yeah the paint scratched, but the pole did not bend or break or weaken. These are the best things out there and trust me I do not say that lightly when reviewing anything. When mine do eventually give out you can bet that I will be buying another pair of them.
