Look around at your home resort, and you'll notice Scott Team Issue Series 4 poles in the hands of the best skiers on the mountain. There's a reason for that, and it's not just the sick graphics. Series 4 aircraft aluminum is twice as strong as the industry standard, and it's the reason that more pros use Scott poles than any other brand.

  • Series 4 aluminum rated to 75,000 PSI
  • Notch Strike dual-density grip for slip-free control
  • Carbon Diamond tungsten carbide tip for unmatched bite and durability

Bottom Line: Go with the pros.

I love these poles and they made them with tougher straps this time around. I love the feel of the pole when I ski and the grips.

Nice pole, but...

A really nice, stiff, pole :) BUT...when using with a Hestra Heli Ski glove (XL), I find the grip a little small. I hate the straps and removed altogether. To fit on my hand/glove, you have to adjust the strap to nearly it's widest setting and the design is not well suited to that adjustment - it leaves a lot of exposed velcro, which is constantly entangling on exposed velcro on gloves, jacket wrists, etc. Annoying.

Going strapless and happier for it.

I have skied every day this season with these poles, and I think I have to agree with you on this one. I've been strapless this whole season after the straps tore off, and I've been none the happier. It's made skiing the trees much safer, IMO.

The gold standard and for a good reason

By:

Series4 Scott is the gold standard and Team Issue ups the game a little bit by going to a slightly oversize profile for even more durability. These poles are light, comfortable, and seem to be bombproof so far. I alos appreciate the strap attachment system that improves on the previous version. I only wish they made the strap loop from metal, the plastic ring will get sun damage and will break. Otherwise these poles look like they would last forever. Oh, yeah, and green graphics is sick. Love'em.

Best looking poles on the mountain

By:
February 3, 2010

Love the bright green color...friends can definitely find me in a crowd. They seem bomb-proof so far. Swing weight is a bit heavier than expected but not noticeable while skiing. Biggest gripes are the slightly small wrist straps even on the loosest adjustment, and hand grips that are a tad too small for me. (just average male hands...not like a Yeti.)

Tough, light, and good-looking to boot. Scott Series 4 aluminum takes a beating, and the colors are always on point. The trigger grips are comfy and the straps support your hands really well. I recommend the powder baskets for deep days.
