Description

The Scott Crusade Alpine Ski delivers silky smooth performance in any condition.

The Scott Crusade Alpine Ski glides through pow, finesses the crud, and carves like a champ. Scott’s Venturi tip and tail employ concave channels to provide surprising float and crud performance off piste. On hardpack the Crusade performs closer to how its dimensions would suggest, railing high speed carves with the best of them. The wood core is both lively and forgiving and helps the Crusade smooth out any terrain.

Write your question here...i have the scott mission from 3 seasons ago, great ski, top sheet material is soft though. how does this model compare in durability and skiability to that particular ski? i like them as an everyday ski out here in mccall, idaho. i ski anything, 5-6 days a week, p4 a better choice?

Scott has come along way in durability in 3 years. the crusade is a good ski, although I prefer the mission. I think the crusade is a little more turny and slightly more squirrely than the mission.

I skied on these skis the other day and thought they were amazing!!! I was considering getting the P4 and was trying to test some, but i ended up with this ski, how does it compare to the P4. I found that the crusade floated nicely in the powpow, smashed through any crud and handled bumbs well, filling me with confidence all over the mountain! Will the P4's do the same?

Responded on

The P4 is a fatter ski so it will float even more than this ski actually. Fatter skis will also allow for more crud busting and stability in variable snow conditions. The P4 is a little bit stiffer which helps in crud and on groomers. This Crusade is a little bit softer.
