Authentic Shorts - Men's

When you ride every day, you need a pair of shorts in your rotation that you can trust to work well no matter what you have planned. Scott designed its Authentic Shorts to be just that — reliable enough to just grab and go, for however far you’re planning to ride. The body of the shorts is made with blended polyester that stretches well and is designed to quickly pull moisture away from your skin. Realizing many of your rides will take place in the sun, Scott includes its DUROshade technology in the fabric, giving the part of your legs most exposed to the sun while riding some much needed protection.

The Authentic shorts fit in the way you’d expect from a pair of everyday cycling shorts — not so tight that you’ll feel like it's race day, but tight enough so that you won’t have to deal with any extra material that could get in the way. Scott uses its Sport Padding chamois, which includes polyurethane foam underneath a bacteriostatic polyester layer, with variable thickness and density throughout, giving you cushion in all the right places. As important as comfort is, Scott ensures these shorts still will perform well on sweaty rides by adding perforation on the chamois foam to increase airflow. Flatlock stitching throughout eliminates the likelihood of chafing from uncomfortable seams, and silicon leg grippers help the shorts stay in place for however long you ride.
