The Scientific Anglers System 4 Fly Reel wows you with its quick line pick-up, thanks to its large arbor design. Made in Montrose, Colorado, the System 4 features strong, durable components and a maintenance-free drag system that's also saltwater compatible.

- 6061-T6 CNC-machined aluminum components supply improved strength and durability
- Large arbor design offers quick line pick-up and updated cosmetics versus past system reels
- Delrin 500AF drag system uses impregnated Teflon, space-age polymer, and an anodized aluminum interface to improve durability and heat resistance while allowing it to be self-lubricating and maintenance free
- Drag system has a push-frame friction disc drag system with redundancy radial pawl engagement that enables a seamless transition between line-in and drag engagement so there's no start-up friction
- Sizes 3/4 and 5/6 feature a Delrin hub rotating on a stainless steel spindle while size 7/8 consists of an oil-impregnated bronze bushing rotating on a stainless steel spindle
- Quick-release locking spool has an easy left-hand to right-hand retrieve conversion for convenience
- Reel is made in Scientific Anglers facility in Montrose, Colorado
