Description

Strip away.

It's hard to tell who's more excited: you or the the giant brown that's chasing after the streamer at the end of the Scientific Anglers Mastery Textured Streamer Express Fly Line. Specifically designed for subsurface fishing, the Mastery allows your fly to settle below the surface and out of the wind or chop so you can let the chase begin.

  • Mastery taper provides superb casting and shooting
  • Works well in wind and in variety of conditions
  • Monofilament core with moderate stiffness gives you a strong delivery
  • AST (Advance Shooting Technology) technology sheds dirt, algae, and other particles, allowing the line to cast farther, float higher, and stay cleaner
  • Line identification marking system allows you to identify your lines at a glance
  • If you're buying a reel or spool and fly line, we'll be happy to rig it up for you, please give us a call at (855)-712-0513 for details

Get yo streamer down!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am really happy with my decision to go with this line vs. a different sink tip line or full sink. Sink tips are nice because they are easier to throw and mend but your retrieve always involves your fly swimming up. Full sinks keep your fly down but sometimes are a little over kill for smaller waters and they are certainly more work to move around. This line is truly the best of both worlds. You get your sinking head and then instead of staying like that, or transitioning into a floating line, it turns into a intermediate line. This makes it easier to fish then your typical full sink, but fishes better than most sink tips. For those of you wondering if this line will be tough to cast, I find it casts much smoother and farther than any of my WF floating lines. It definitely is a little more tiring, but it shoots real easy. Its thinner diameter also cuts through wind great. Don't mess around with not getting your streamers into the strike zone! I fish the 200 grain on a 6wt and fish it on smaller Utah rivers like the Provo and Weber as well as big rivers like the Green.

Brandon's review is spot on. If your fishing Streamers, look to this line for your junk-throwing needs.
