    Light, fast, durable.

Sometimes rides demand that durability trump lightness, such as in training or commuting. For those applications, Schwalbe's Lugano Clincher Tire checks all the toughness and price conscious boxes, while losing very little of the racing tire feel.

This means the transition from civilian to racer is seamless as the Lugano Tire corners better than you'd imagine by providing grip from a diamond tread profile that's perfect for both dry and wet conditions. A puncture protection belt strengthens the casing so that you can ride through patches of sand and road debris with confidence. Certainly, there are lighter clinchers out there, but at this price point; it's going to be hard to find another that keenly blends performance with durability.

The Schwalbe Lugano Clincher Tire is available in Black, Red Strip, or Blue Strip and two sizes; 700cx23mm and 700cx25mm.

Great Tires, noticeably grippy and fast

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've put about 50miles on these tires and immediately noticed my bikes handling and grip increased. No issues with flats or wearing yet but I'm only 50miles in, more testing to come.

    lasted for 2 years

lasted for two years on my chinese carbon clinchers with alloy rim bed and brake tracks. did 5 centuries with it and countless miles of training rides. tire on the rear started forming an S bend and i have encountered those kinds of problems before on continental tires. and no, it's not an inner tube problem. i replaced it right away. for the price of $19 bucks, i say it's worth it. i'm still using the front tire.
