The Scarpa Women’s ZG65 GTX Hiking Boot provides enough support for a week-long backpacking trip without being overkill for a quick afternoon on the trail. A waterproof-breathable Gore-Tex XCR insert ensures your feet stay dry even when you have to tromp through mud and muck, and the Vibram sole keeps you on your feet during these harsh conditions. Thanks to Scarpa’s mellow style, these boots even make the cut for a day at work when the weather turns bad.

Bottom Line: For the harsh and the not-so-harsh.

Do these shoes run true to size? I wear a size 7w in most shoes

Do these shoes run true to size? I wear a size 7w in most shoes but for example I find Keen shoes to run about a half size smaller for me than what they list...

just got them and i really like them but i have to exchange the 40.5 for the 41 and i'm usually a size 10. they seem good for narrow feet, not too bulky, which is always a problem at my size.

are they *really* waterproof, or just water-resistant? the sides look like they have mesh panels on them, which would make them not waterproof in my book.

Thank you, Angus. I tried to mark your answer as "helpful" but the thumbs-down updated instead. Unintentional! Sorry about that.

They're really waterproof. They do have mesh panels, under which is a Gore-Tex membrane that keeps water out.

Waterproof sure, buy eventually the membranes in boots wear out and water will pass through.
Not necessarily a terrible thing as water will pass out more easily.

I have delayed in ordering the boots, and now there are none

I have delayed in ordering the boots, and now there are none of my size left. Gutted. Is there any way I could purchase a pair of these boots in size 39.5? Could you get a pair in? I am ordering all the way from New Zealand.
