Equally at home at the resort or in the backcountry, The Scarpa Men's Tornado Pro Alpine Touring Boot gives those who live for the mountains the versatility to tackle any situation. Want to spend a day in your favorite resort? Attach the included super stiff tongue, buckle up these Scarpa boots, step into your alpine bindings, and charge the groomed. The Tornado Pro's Vibram Ride soles won't interfere with your alpine bindings' release mechanism. Scarpa gave the Tornados a lateral cant adjustment system so you can dial in the boot for superior edge hold. When the resort gets tracked out, head for the backcountry. Swap out the stiff tongue for an included softer touring tongue, flip the ski/walk mechanism to tour mode, and make a few laps. With just enough flex in the right places, the Tornado will tour comfortably but rip through crud, powder, or any other type of snow on the way down.

Bottom Line: Resort or backcountry, AT or alpine, rip it up with the Scarpa Tornado Pro Alpine Touring Ski Boots.

I don't know why companies even make boots anymore.

these are amazingly stiff and yet super comfortable. Going uphill is easy, and downhill even better. They keep me warm, my feet are happy, and they can drive my ski. A better all around experience than the performance boots like the Lange 120s, without sacrificing much. Plus, if you have a narrow foot they will fit you like a glove. or boot. whatever. I couldn't be happier.

Pefect with +2 degrees of lean!!

Close to perfect boot for aggressive slack country skier who loves the steeps... Very stiff, precise... like a race boot... BUT amazingly comfortable and warm!!!.... Only downside is 23 degrees of lean is just not enough on the groomers or 30 degree slopes. On the other hand, I'm thinking of making it my full-time boot.
