The Scarpa Kids' TJ Telemark Ski Boot prepares your child for his or her initial tele-tutelage out on the trail. These lightweight boots help you pass the stoke on to the next generation of freeheelers. The TJ Boot eases your child into the sport with the help of a lightweight yet supportive Pebax shell and low-profile, two-buckle design. The Cordura liner ensures warm feet and toes while you show your up-and-comer the ropes on the skin track or some fresh lines. Scarpa's Skywalk Telesystem sole takes the strain out of hiking with its stride-friendly shape and self-cleaning sole.

Bottom Line: The TJ Telemark Ski Boot takes your little ripper outside the ropes.

Most tele bindings will work depending on what size the boot is. Just check the binding specs to see if they go small enough. The G3 Targa Elle will fit the smallest sizes and any 3pin binding will work well.

My 9 yr old's first tele boots. They are comfortable and functional. So far, so good.

My son is 7 years old and wears a size 4.5 children's shoe.

My son is 7 years old and wears a size 4.5 children's shoe. What size tele boot is appropriate for him for this season? Do Garmont and Scarpa have the same sizing?

Thanks, Bruce

A mondo Size 21.5 should be a good fit, I am pretty sure that the Garmont's are the same sizing. I would do some research. Hope this helps!

First tele boot I have used - bought it for backcountry, have tried it on lift-served beginner runs too. Very comfortable, warm, good flex. Good for small adult.
